I was talking to a friend who wants to get an anchor tattoo. I was thinking of getting one because anchors have such metaphorical meaning and I love figurative and metaphorical things. They always remind me that objects hold so much more meaning than what we see on the surface. And then this picture came across my dash and now I really want this bracelet and the tattoo. I was thinking an outline of an anchor in red and here this sits staring back at me.  I guess this means after years of contemplating, I’ll be getting my first tattoo.
